Tumoren der Haut und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten von Zytostatika in der Dermatologie

Zusammenfassung

Tumoren und Zytostatika-Therapie weisen in der Dermatologie einige Besonderheiten auf: obwohl mehr als die Hälfte aller malignen Tumoren ihren Ursprung im Hautbereich nehmen, führen sie — verglichen mit Primärtumoren anderer Organe — nur in einem sehr kleinen Prozentsatz der Fälle zum Tode. Dies wiederum hat mehrere Gründe. Viele Tumoren der Haut metastasieren erst sehr spät oder überhaupt nicht; sie sind ihrer besonderen Lage wegen früh erkennbar und einfach zugänglich; Präkanzerosen erlauben gelegentlich wirksame Vorbeugungsmaßnahmen. In der dermatologischen Chemotherapie steht darüber hinaus eine wirksame lokale Behandlungsmaßnahme zur Verfügung. Nur das maligne Melanom macht von dem oben Gesagten eine Ausnahme — es wird hier jedoch mit eingeschlossen, weil es ein häufiges Problem des Dermatologen, wenn auch nicht ein eigentlich dermatologisches Problem ist.
