Zusammenfassung

Die epithelialen bösartigen Geschwülste der Speiseröhre stellen mit 4–5% einen relativ kleinen Anteil aller bösartigen Tumoren dar und machen rund 9% der malignen Geschwülste des gesamten Magen-Darmtraktes aus (LINDER u. GRÖZINGER, 1969). Sehr selten sind die benignen mesenchymalen und neurogenen Tumoren mit nur 0,5–2% in der Geschwulstskala. Die malignen mesenchymalen Geschwülste (Sarkome) sind eine Rarität (VOGT-MOYKOPF u. Mitarb., 1971).
