Zusammenfassung
Jeder Organismus, jedes geregelte System kann durch äußere Faktoren gestört werden, z.B. werden Bakterien durch Zugabe eines Antibiotikums in ihrem Wachstum gehemmt. Das Antibiotikum wirkt auf die meisten Individuen tödlich. Nur einige wenige Mutanten überleben und bauen durch Vermehrung eine neue Bakterienpopulation auf (vgl. Kapitel 5).
