Zusammenfassung
Die Indikationsstellung zur chirurgischen Behandlung einer Erkrankung setzt die Kenntnis ihres Spontanverlaufs und der Leistungsfähigkeit des jeweiligen Operationsverfahrens einschließhch der Langzeitergebnisse voraus. Entsprechend den sich aus der Lokahsation von arteriellen Aneurysmen ergebenden Unterschieden in den genannten Parametern läßt sich das Thema in zwei Abschnitte ghedem:
Die Indikation zur chirurgischen Behandlung der infra- und suprarenalen Bauchaorta- sowie der Iliaca-Aneurysmen.
