Über die Reticulocytengröße bei Aktivierung der Erythropoese

Zusammenfassung

Seit fast 40 Jahren ist bekannt, daß Reticulocyten größer sind als Erythrocyten, und zwar bei der Durchmesserbestimmung im Ausstrichpraparat urn 10 bis 15% (6). Eine direkte Bestimmung des Reticulocytenvolumens stößt auf Schwierigkeiten, lediglich das mittlere Zellvolumen kann nach Anreicherung der Reticulocyten aus Hämatokrit und Erythrocytenzahl bestimmt werden. Es beträgt nach Phenylhydrazinhämolyse nach Künzer, Ambs und Schneider (5) das 1½, nach Weicker (8) sogar das Dreifache des mittleren Erythrocytenvolumens.
