Insulin (0,05 E/kg Körpergewicht i.v.) ändert den Blutspiegel der Triglyceride, der freien Fettsäuren und des Glycerins, der Ketonkörper Hydroxybutyrat und Acetacetat und der Glucosemetaboliten Lactat und Pyruvat in gleicher Reihenfolge wie eine intravenöse oder perorale Kohlenhydratgabe.
