Zusammenfassung

Der Morbus Besnier-Boeck-Schaumann (M.B.-B.-Sch.) ist eine „epitheloidzellige Granulomatose“ ungeklärter Ätiologie (1, 2). Neben der tuberkulösen Genese (3, 4), die mit einer besonderen Immunitätslage des Organismus — von Jadassohn (3) als „positive Anergie“ bezeichnet — verknüpft sein sollte, wurden in jüngerer Zeit andere pathogenetische Mechanismen diskutiert (5). Es handelt sich um eine Allgemeinerkrankung, die viele Organe und Organsysteme gleichzeitig oder nacheinander befällt (1, 2). Histologisch ist sie durch das Auftreten von typischen Epitheloidzellgranulomen gekennzeichnet.
