Zusammenfassung

Die Erwartung, daß von einem 1954 als Krankheitseinheit dargestellten rheumatischen Syndrom mit allgemeinem Befall des Knorpels bald zahlreichere Fälle bekannt werden dürften, hat sich inzwischen bestätigt. Mit der ersten kasuistischen Mitteilung von Jaksch-Wartenhorst (1921) sind bisher 36 Berichte erschienen, von denen sich die gegenwärtige Betrachtung auf 23 Fälle beschränkt, deren klinische und pathologischanatomische Daten vollständig verfügbar sind. In dieser Kasuistik sind drei eigene, davon zwei unpublizierte und drei weitere neue Fälle enthalten, deren Daten Prof. Bean in Iowa mir freundlicherweise überlassen hat.
