Zusammenfassung

Folgende Ursachen der akuten und chronischen metabolischen Alkalose können uns in der inneren Klinik begegnen:

  1. 1.

    Magensaftverlust, z. B. Erbrechen, Absaugung.

  2. 2.

    Anwendung von Hg-Diuretica, Zufuhr von Nebennierensteroiden oder Succus liquiritiae, Cushingsyndrom.

  3. 3.

    Chronischer Kaliumverlust, z. B. chronische Durchfallskrankheiten, chronischer Laxantienmißbrauch, einheimische Sprue, kongenitale Alkalose mit Durchfällen (Darrow, Gamble), Kaliumverlustniere.

  4. 4.

    Erhöhte Alkalizufuhr, z. B. Natriumbicarbonat, -lactat, -citrat.
