Zusammenfassung

Akute Darmerkrankungen sind beim Kinde insbesondere in der Säuglingszeit recht häufig, chronisch-dyspeptische Störungen jedoch selten. Nur zwei chronische Darmerkrankungen erweisen sich für den Pädiater als bedeutsam, die Cöliakie und die cystische Pankreasfibrose. Beiden gemeinsam ist die schwere Gedeihstörung und die Steatorrhoe. Sie entstehen jedoch aus gänzlich verschiedenen Ursachen.
