Zusammenfassung

Von 1968 bis Mitte 1972 wurden 2956 exogene Vergiftungen im Universitätskrankenhaus Hamburg-Eppendorf aufgenommen. Davon gelangten 521 Patienten wegen Atem- und Kreislaufinsuffizienz, Bewußtlosigkeit und anderen vorliegenden oder zu erwartenden Komplikationen zur Behandlung auf die Intensivstation der I. Medizinischen Klinik. 492 Krankenblätter dieser Patienten wurden ausgewertet (Tab. 1).
