Sacherschließung von Literatur durch Stichwortsuche im OPAC?

Zusammenfassung

Auch beim OPAC ist in der Regel die Suche nach Stichwörtern als wichtige, bei einigen Bibliotheken sogar als einzige Möglichkeit sachlicher Recherche vorgesehen. Doch erhält bei Freitextsuche der Titel einer Publikation eine Bedeutung, die ihm zwar in vielen, aber längst nicht in allen Fällen zukommt. Eine Beschränkung der sachlichen Recherche auf Freitext- bzw. Stichwortsuche würde — gerade im OPAC — kaum mehr wirkliche Sacherschließung darstellen.
