Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff Knochenmarkinsuffizienz kann definiert werden, als periphere Cytopenie infolge eines gestörten Nachschubes aus dem Knochenmark. Als entsprechend weitgefaßten Begriff kann man die Bezeichnung aplastisches Syndrom (GROSS) verwenden, der alle Störungen der Produktion von Leukocyten, Erythrocyten und Thrombocyten zusammenfaßt. Cytopenien des peripheren Blutes, die durch periphere Speicherung, durch Abbau oder Verbrauch in der Zirkulation oder in den Geweben bedingt sind, werden in diesem Referat von der Knochenmarkinsuffizienz abgegrenzt.
