Mixed-Integer Linear Optimization on a PC-Net

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Economics and Mathematical Systems ((LNE,volume 367))

Abstract

Many industrial optimization problems lead to continuous or to mixed integer LP models. While today continuous models can be solved for dimensions of practical significance, there are still difficulties in solving mixed integer models of higher dimension. Therefore heuristics, simulation or optimizing methods without prove of optimalitiy are used.
