Zusammenfassung
Diese Veröffentlichung fasst die Entwicklung der industriellen Bildzeichenerkennungssysteme zusammen, beginnend mit der Off-line Analyse von Röntgenbildern mit Hilfe von Grosskomputern bis zur modernen direkten Produktionsüberwachung mit dem Stande der Technik entsprechenden Multiprozessor-Bilderkennungssystemen.
Typische Anwenderprobleme wie die Beschrenkung die sich bei der On-line (direkt) überwachung für die Bildqualität und -erkennung in realen Industrieproduktionsgeräten ergibt werden besprochen. Die Grundlagen der Bildzeichenverarbeitung werden aufgezeigt wie z.B. die Techniken und Software zur Teileerkennung, Segmention und Beschreibung. Zeilenbezogene und bildbezogene Datenerkennung wird besprochen, sowie die Kompabilitätsprobleme von underschiedlichen Sensoren. Die derzeitige Entwicklung von Expert-Sytemen und neuen Prozessorstrukturen wird erfasst.
Die Entwicklung bis zum heutigen Stand der Technik wird mit Hilfe von signifikanten Anwenderbeispielen erleutert. Die Beispiele sind aus den Arbeitsbereichen Metalverarbeitung, Laboranalyse, automatische Qualitätskontrolle von Automobilen und anderen Masseprodukten, Bildfernverarbeitung und Aufbereitung in Gefahrenzohnen, Teileerkennung in der automatischen Produktion sowie Fahrzeug- und Roboterlenkung.
