Abstract
The emergence of positron emission computerized tomography has had a great impact not only on the clinical diagnosis, but also on the basic understanding, of brain functions. Only this sophisticated tool has made it possible to evaluate various physiological factors in man with quantifiable, three-dimensional images noninvasively.
