Zusammenfassung

Als Pankreaskarzinom im engeren anatomopatho-logischen Sinne wird das duktale Adenokarzinom des exokrinen Pankreas bezeichnet. Es ist zu trennen vom Papillenkarzinom, von dem distalen Cho-ledochuskarzinom und dem seltenen Zystadeno-karzinom sowie vom Azinuszellkarzinom, welche global auch als periampulläre Karzinome zusammengefaßt werden. Entsprechend der Lokalisation unterscheidet man die Pankreaskopfkarzinome (72%) von den Korpus- und Schwanzkarzinomen (18%) (Abb. 15.1).
