Monoclonal Antibodies against Carcinoembryonic Antigen for the Detection of Human Colon Carcinoma by Immunoscintigraphy

Abstract

Research on tumour localization of radiolabelled antibodies was initiated almost 30 years ago by Pressman [1] and Bale [2], who showed that labelled antibodies against Wagner osteosarcoma or Walker carcinoma cells were concentrated in vivo by these tumours.
