Zusammenfassung
Das zentrale Theorem der elementaren Katastrophentheorie - das Klassifikationstheorem aus der Sicht der qualitativen Theorie dynamischer Systeme - beschäftigt sich mit folgender Frage: Welchen Einfluss üben Parameteränderungen auf die Gleichgewichtskonfigurationen (= Mengen und dynamische Stabilitätseigenschaften der Gleichgewichtszustände) typischer bzw. strukturell stabiler Gradientensysteme aus? Diese Fragestellung ist offensichtlich komparativ-dynamischer bzw. komparativ-statischer Natur.
