Abstract
Spermatic phlebography was first described by Ahlberg et al. in 1965. Since then, few publications have been related to this technique. Spermatic phlebography is useful for detecting a clinically suspected varicocele and providing a preoperative phlebogram. Recent developments in interventive radiology have introduced a therapeutic side to the method.
