Abstract
It is a great privilege to be asked to make some comments from the point of view of an innocent bystander in scientific matters—perhaps not so innocent, but largely innocent of any scientific knowledge. We have heard several highly thought-provoking and interesting papers, especially the two papers by Aharon Katchalsky and David Samuel. Listening to them I have asked myself some questions.
