Abstract

The severe psychic and physical stress situations to which human beings were exposed in the concentration camps of World War II may very well have had lasting psychological results. The purpose of this investigation was to discover the nature of this sequelae, their symptomatology, and to identify the specific factors in the stressful situations responsible for these morbid conditions.
