Abstract
F. J. Cann, Institute for Mind, Drugs and Behavior, Department of Pharmacology, Loyola University Medical Center: I want particularly to comment with regard to the conclusions of Prof. Beritashvili on the poor conditioning of amphibia as compared to fish, and on the lack of long term memory in amphibia, as some of our own work is not necessarily in agreement with these conclusions, and as it is useful to review also the pertinent work of other investigators. It is also important to point out some of the possible reasons for this disagreement.
