Analytical and Diagnostic Reliability of Estrogen Measurement in Pregnancy

Summary

The accuracy and precision of four methods for the determination of oestrogens in human pregnancy urine has been checked. Satisfactory results were obtained by a method similar to the method described by van Baelen et. al. Using this method 310 estimations of oestrogens were made from 184 pregnant women. The indications of oestrogen determinations and the clinical value of the results were discussed.
