Zusammenfassung
Traditionell versteht man unter Kombinatorik eine mathematische Disziplin, die sich mit raffinierten Anzahlfragen beschäftigt und, abgesehen von primitiven Anwendungen in der Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie, vorwiegend Unterhaltungswert besitzt. Auf jeden Fall neigt man zu der Annahme, daß Kombinatorik sich nur mit ganzen Zahlen beschäftigt.
