Zusammenfassung

Eine systematische Behandlung der Lungenerkrankungen beim Säugling und Kleinkind würde einen eigenen Handbuchband erfordern, wenn sie Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit erheben würde. Im Rahmen des vorliegenden Handbuchbeitrages sollen daher mehr die dem frühen Kindesalter eigentümlichen Lungenveränderungen herausgegriffen werden. Krankheitsbilder, welche auch bei Erwachsenen Lungenveränderungen hervorrufen, werden nur dann berücksichtigt, wenn Besonderheiten des radiologischen Erscheinungsbildes dazu Anlaß geben. Durch diese Beschränkung in Umfang und Auswahl dürften die altersgebundenen Eigentümlichkeiten in den röntgenologischen Lungenveränderungen der ersten Lebensjahre plastischer zum Ausdruck kommen, als durch eine Aufzählung aller vorkommenden Lungenerkrankungen.
