Zusammenfassung

Die Seitenaufnahme läßt das Profil des Sternum abwärts vom Unterrand des Sterno-Claviculargelenks erkennen. Die gleichzeitige Darstellung beider Sterno-Glaviculargelenke erfolgt durch die Doppelaufnahme nach Zimmer (1939) oder durch Schichtaufnahmen. Aufnahmen eines Gelenkes gelingen durch die Methode von Gunson (1943) oder die Großfocuskontaktaufnahme nach Ott (1954). Bei der Übersichtsaufnahme muß das Brustbein durch Schrägstellung des Brustkorbs (weitere Modifikation durch Gil y Gil 1950) oder durch schräg einfallenden Zentralstrahl (Holly 1942) freiprojiziert werden. Weitere brauchbare Methoden sind die Doppelaufnahme nach Zimmer und die Schichtuntersuchung mit schräger oder senkrecht zum Brustbein verlaufender Verwischungsrichtung (Schnorr 1937); bei kleinem Pendelwinkel gelingt es nicht selten, das Sternum in seiner gesamten Länge auf einer Schicht abzubilden.
