Abstract

This report describes the main findings obtained in the field of active polypeptides of the amphibian skin by the research groups of the Institute of Pharmacology of the University of Parma and of the Farmitalia Research Laboratories, Milan, which were joined by Dr. J. M. Cei, Mendoza, Argentina, and Dr. R. Endean, Brisbane, Australia, who were responsible for collection, classification, and occasional extraction of the amphibian material.
