Zusammenfassung

Akaryonte Protisten (vgl. dazu auch S. 29). Eine hochgeordnete Struktur im Chromatinapparat (Nucleoid) der Bakterienzelle schildert ausführlich wieder Grund, die diesbezüglichen Befunde von Fuhs (Fortschr. Bot. 27, 1) finden durch mikrochemische Untersuchungen des gleichen Autors wertvolle Ergänzungen. Der Bau der Zellwand von Micrococcus radiodurans, der gegenüber kurzwelliger Strahlung bemerkenswert resistent ist, zeigt bestimmte Besonderheiten: es sind vier Schichten, jede mit charakteristischer Feinstruktur, vorhanden (Thornley et al.); Chromatinapparat und Cytoplasmastrukturen besitzen die gewohnte Ausbildung.
