Zusammenfassung

Unter dem UV-Spektrum versteht man im allgemeinen die Lichtabsorption einer Substanzlösung zwischen 210 und 400 mµ, da der schon zum „tiefen UV“ gehörende Strahlenbereich von 175 bis 210 mµ mit den meisten Spektralphotometern nicht mehr exakt erfaßt werden kann (s. VIII.).

Abstract

In general the UV spectrum of a solution of a compound refers to its absorption bands over the range 200–400 mµ, since the region from 175–210 mµ (far UV) cannot be reached by most spectrophotometers (see VIII.).
