Zusammenfassung

Das Krankheitsbild der Sporotrichose ist in der Regel so charakteristisch, daß die Diagnose bei typischen Fällen allein aus den klinischen Veränderungen gestellt werden kann. Lediglich die Seltenheit dieser Pilzinfektion in unseren Breiten erklärt die Schwierigkeiten bei ihrer Diagnostik. Bekanntlich bringt eine Fehldiagnose den Erkrankten in Lebensgefahr, da verkannte Sporotrichose-fälle tödlich verlaufen können. Frühdiagnose und richtige Therapie verhelfen zu einer guten Prognose. Exakte Kenntnisse über die Sporotrichose sind deshalb auch in den Ländern, in denen diese Pilzinfektion seltener aufzutreten pflegt, von größter Bedeutung
