Zusammenfassung
Schon lange ehe 1953 Buhler und Pollack die Aufmerksamkeit auf das vermehrte Auftreten von nicht echten Tuberkelbakterien gelenkt haben, die beim Menschen von Tuberkulose nicht unterscheidbare Krankheitsbilder hervorriefen, wurden solche nicht echten Tuberkulosebakterien hin und wieder bei Lungenoder Lymphknoten-Tuberkulose als auslösende Ursache beschrieben (Beaven 1931, Pinner 1935, Feldman 1943). Seit 1953 haben sich weitere Meldungen über tuberkulöse Erkrankungen, bei denen als Erreger andere als humane oder bovine Tuberkelbakterien gefunden wurden, gehäuft, nicht nur in Amerika, sondern auch in anderen Erdteilen und Ländern.
