Zusammenfassung

Mycetozoa. Die noch immer offene Frage, wo im sexuellen Entwicklungsgang der Mycetozoa die Meiosis erfolgt, ist nur durch Chromosomen- zählungen und Analyse der Prophasestruktur zu lösen. Hohe Chromosomenzahlen erschweren zuweilen die Chromosomenzählung. In diesen Fällen (n = 25–90) nimmt Ross (1, 2) Polyploidie an. Anaphasebrücken als Meiosekriterium zu verwenden (Wilson u. Ross), ist nicht berechtigt. Die cytologische Analyse muß grundsätzlich die beiden Möglichkeiten berücksichtigen: die einzelne oder die beiden Kernteilungen bei der Furchung des Sporangiums und die beiden in der Spore ablaufenden Teilungen. Da Wilson u. Ross und Ross (2) sich nur auf die Kernteilungen im Sporangium beschränken, ohne die zweite Möglichkeit ausreichend untersucht zu haben, wird man ihren Angaben, wonach die Meiosis im Sporangium erfolgt, abwartend gegenüberstehen. Kompliziert werden die Verhältnisse durch das Nebeneinandervorkommen von sexuellen und apogamen Stämmen und den offenbar leichten Übergang von der einen in die andere Fortpflanzungsform [Ross (1)].
