Zusammenfassung

Wie vielfach auch heute noch makroskopisch-morphologische Merkmale zu neuen systematischen Einsichten führen können, zeigte Holttum (1) bei der Gattung Dryopteris sens. ampl.; hier bildet die Rhachisrinne ein wichtiges, übersehenes Charakteristikum: bei Dryopteris sens. str. laufen die Rinnen der Fiederchen in die Rinne der Hauptrhachis durch, bei Thelypteris sind sie kurz vor der Hauptrhachis unterbrochen, bei Tectaria fehlen sie überhaupt — womit die durchlaufende Trennung dieser Gruppen erneut bestätigt wäre.
