Zusammenfassung

Ohne der „Spezialisierung“ das Wort reden zu wollen, muß man der gesonderten Behandlung kinderchirurgischer Probleme unverkennbare Fortschritte zubilligen. Dabei umfaßt die spezielle Beschäftigung mit der dem Kinde eigenen Klinik, die Kenntnis der Pathologie, die Erarbeitung pathophysiologischer Grundlagen und die Berücksichtigung allgemeinchirurgischer Prinzipien.
