Zusammenfassung

Geitler (8) berichtete zusammenfassend über Syn-cyanosen. Bei den Algensyncyanosen, bei denen fadenförmige Blaualgen auftreten (Richelia intracellularis in Chaetoceras-Arten und Nostoc in Geosiphon) besteht kein Zweifel über die Natur der Symbionten. Anders ist es bei gewissen Flagellaten-Cyanomen wie Cyanophora sowie bei Glauocystis, Gloeochaete, Glaucosphaera und der neuen Art Cyanoptyche dispersa [Geitler (9)]. An den Cyanellen von Cyanophora läßt sich keine Membran wie bei freilebenden Cyanophyceen nachweisen [Geitler (8)], eine eindeutige Nuclealreaktion war nicht zu erzielen, und der zentrale kugelige Körper ist nicht mit dem bekannten Centroplasma der Cyanophyceen zu identifizieren. Geitler (9) hat Bedenken die Cyanellen freilebenden Cyanophyceen gleichzusetzen, räumt allerdings ein, daß sich die Unterschiede allenfalls aus der intracellulären Lebensweise erklären lassen.
