Zusammenfassung

Die Gicht, in Zeiten der Not selten, begegnet uns heute wieder häufig. Wie alle Stoffwechselkrankheiten scheint sie experimentellen Untersuchungen besonders leicht zugänghch zu sein, und die Zahl der einschlägigen Publikationen hat in den letzten fünfzehn Jahren wieder rasch zugenommen.

Viele neue Tatsachen wurden bekannt. Eine klare Einsicht in das Wesen der gichtischen Stoffwechselstörung ist aber nicht erlangt.
