Zur Klinik der Kalkstoffwechselstörungen des Erwachsenenalters

Zusammenfassung

Durch die Einführung chemischer Untersuchungsmethoden in die klinische Diagnostik sind in den letzten Jahren wesentliche Fortschritte bei der Aufklärung der komplizierten Zusammenhänge im Bereich des Regulationssystems des Kalk-haushalts erzielt worden. Zahlreiche Einzelglieder bilden einen Funktionskreis (Hoff), der neben dem Calcium- und Phosphatgehalt der Körperflüssigkeiten auch die Nebenschilddrüsen, das Skeletsystem (als Depotorgan für Calcium und Phosphor), die Nieren und den Darmtrakt (als Resorptions- bzw. Ausscheidungs- organe) sowie möglicherweise auch übergeordnete Zentren umschließt. Störungen des Kalkhaushalts und des eng mit ihm verknüpften Phosphatstoffwechsels können von jedem dieser Einzelglieder ihren Ausgang nehmen. Daraus erwachsen oft erhebliche differentialdiagnostische Schwierigkeiten bei der Abklärung einer Dyscalcämie, d. h. einer Abweichung des Serum-Calcium-Spiegels von der Norm. Im folgenden sollen die häufigsten Erkrankungen dieser Art anhand eigener Beobachtungen kurz besprochen werden.
