Zusammenfassung

Zur Orientierung über den bisherigen Stand unserer Kenntnisse von pflanzenpathogenen Bakterien und ihren Wirkungen auf die entsprechenden Wirtspflanzen sei auf die eingehende und zusammenfassende Darstellung des Verf. im Handbuch der Pflanzenkrankheiten 6. Aufl. Bd. 2, zweite Lieferung 1956 hingewiesen, ferner auf das Buch von W. J. Dowson “Plant diseases due to bacteria” 1957 und das zur Klassifizierung wichtige von Breed, Murray und Smith “Bergey’s Manual of determinative Bacteriology” 7. Aufl. 1957 sowie auf das des Verf. „Pflanzenpathogene Bakterien“ von 1958. Die im letzteren angeführte Literatur, die sich allerdings nur auf Bakterien beschränkt, deren Arten im mitteleuropäischen Raum als Krankheitserreger auftreten, kann hier — wegen des so stark begrenzten Umfanges — nicht nochmals berücksichtigt werden.
