Zusammenfassung
In den letzten Jahren haben die Kenntnisse über die Pathogenese zahlreicher Virusinfektionen durch experimentelle Untersuchungen eine entscheidende Erweiterung erfahren. Eine strenge Trennung in Viruskrankheiten „septikämi- schen” Charakters und solche ohne dieses Merkmal, wie sie 1939 im Handbuch der Viruskrankheiten von Gildemeister, Haagen und Waldmann (3) noch durchgeführt wurde, ist heute in dem damaligen Umfange nicht mehr gestattet.
