Zusammenfassung

Die Zusammenfassung der nachstehend dargestellten Hautveränderungen stellt in der oben gegebenen Form eine mit Rücksicht auf die Anlage dieses Buches verhältnismäßig äußerliche dar. Es tauchte natürlich auch hier die Frage auf, ob sich nicht heute Gesichtspunkte stärker in den Vordergrund drängen, welche eine allgemeine Bezeichnung der hier zu besprechenden Gebilde gestatten, welche die Ätiologie der verschiedenen Veränderungen einmal schärfer umfaßt, zum anderen aber auch dem tatsächlichen Stande unseres Wissens besser gerecht wird. UNNA hat die hierher gehörigen Veränderungen als Acanthome unter die Gruppe der gutartigen Neubildungen gerechnet, JADASSOHN sie unter den infektiösen, benignen Epitheliomen aufgeführt. Da wir den Begriff Neubildung bzw. Epitheliom jetzt in erster Linie für echte Blastome zu gebrauchen pflegen, lag es nahe, in die Überschrift die Bezeichnung Acanthome aufzunehmen. Jedoch ist die Stachelzellwucherung bzw. Epithelvermehrung meines Erachtens nicht das allein ausschlaggebende Moment.
