Zusammenfassung

Einige für die Systematik aufschlußreiche Beziehungen zwischen den Symbiosepartnern Pilz und Alge stellte Geitler bei mehreren Gattungen der Cyanophili heraus. Während die Algen bei den primitiven, krustigen Pyrenopsidaceae durchwegs obligat von Haustorien befallen werden, ergibt sich bei den meisten Arten von Lempholemma, einem ursprünglicheren Genus der verwandten, mehr blättrigen Collemaceae, im allgemeinen ein Verhältnis befallener zu unbefallenen Gonidien von 1:19; bei einer anscheinend primitiven Species dagegen von 1:3. Bei Collema selbst fehlen Haustorien ganz. Hier ist die mehr parasitische Einzelbeziehung Hyphe—Algenzelle also bereits dem ökonomischeren Gruppenverhältnis Hyphenhülle—Algengruppe gewichen.
