Zusammenfassung

Wir haben uns zur Aufgabe gestellt, seit der 1936 in den „Ergebnissen“ erschienenen Arbeit von E. K. Frey u. L. Duschl die neuere Literatur über den Kardiospasmus aus dem englischen, französischen und deutschen Sprachgebiet zusammenzustellen, soweit sie uns erreichbar war. Aus der Vielheit der Vermutungen, Tatsachen und Erfahrungen möchten wir das gemeinsam als wesentlich Erkannte herausgreifen, nicht nur als Beitrag zur Erforschung der Ursache und Entstehung, des Verlaufs und der Komplikationen des immer noch komplexen Krankheitsbildes, als ganz besonders, um die Indikationsstellung zur Behandlung zu präzisieren. Als Grundlagen dienen uns das frühere Schrifttum bei Frey, Duschl 1936 und Ochsner, De Bakey 1940, die Originalarbeiten über die heute noch üblichen Behandlungsmethoden und die neue Literatur bis 1953. Zum Vergleichen und Illustrieren ziehen wir unser eigenes bescheidenes Krankengut heran.
