Zusammenfassung
Verschiedene ätiologisch und epidemiologisch sehr nahe verwandte Infektionen septischen Charakters, die als Tierkrankheiten wegen ihrer großen Verbreitung von eminenter Bedeutung, jedoch auch in der menschlichen Pathologie nicht weniger wichtig sind, werden heute zweckmäßigerweise als Brucellosen zusammengefaßt nach Bruce, dem Erstentdecker der sehr kleinen Coccobacillen, die diesen Krankheiten zugrunde liegen.
