Unter dem Begriff „rheumatische“ Erkrankungen werden eine Vielzahl ätiopathogenetisch und klinisch-nosologisch unterschiedlicher Krankheitsbilder zusammen-gefaßt, die mit Schmerzen, Schwellung, Entzündung und Funktionsbeeinträchtigung am Bewegungs- und Stützapparat einhergehen. entzündlich-rheumatische Erkrankungen wie Spondylar-thritiden, chronische Polyarthritis, Kollagenosen und primäre Vaskulitiden,

degenerative Gelenk- und Wirbelsäulenerkrankungen wie Mono-, Oligo-, und Polyarthrosen,

3.
extraartikulärer Weichteilrheumatismus wie Myalgie, Myopathie, Tendovaginitis, Insertionstendopathie, Tendi-nosen, Bursitis.
