Zusammenfassung
In einer Anwendungsbeobachtung mit 2779 hypertonen Patientinnen, 81% von ihnen postmenopausal, wurde der neue ACE-Hemmer fempress ® (Wirkstoff: Moexipril) hinsichtlich seiner Wirksamkeit, Verträglichkeit und der Patienten- Compliance unter Praxisbedingungen untersucht. 68% der Patientinnen waren bereits antihypertensiv vorbehandelt.
Unter individueller Dosierung zwischen 3,75 mg und 30 mg nahm der Blutdruck von initial 172/97 mmHg kontinuierlich auf 144/85 mmHg nach ca. 6-wöchiger Behandlung ab. 2,4% der Patientinnen klagten über unerwünschte Arzneimittelwirkungen. Reizhusten wurde bei 0,7%, Schwindel bei 0,4% und Kopfschmerz bei 0,1% der Fälle dokumentiert.
Die Bewertung von Wirksamkeit und Verträglichkeit fiel ärztlicherseits in 56% bzw. 65% mit „sehr gut“und in 38% bzw. 30% mit „gut“aus.
