Zusammenfassung

Der Vorteil laparoskopischer Techniken konnte in der Viszeralchirurgie in verschiedenen Bereichen gezeigt werden. Dies gelang auch für video-assistierte Verfahren, bei denen immer noch eine Mini-Laparotomie angelegt werden mußte (2). Eingriffe im Bereich der Aorta lassen sich minimalinvasiv sowohl laparoskopisch-assistiert als auch mit Hilfe eines sog. Port-AccessVerfahrens durchführen (4, 16). In jedem Fall sollen den Patienten die Vorteile eines etablierten gefäßchirurgischen Verfahrens mit minimalinvasiven Techniken geboten werden. Es kann aufgrund der vorliegenden Daten davon ausgegangen werden, daß auf diese Weise bessere Langzeitergebnisse erzielt werden können als mit einigen der zur Verfügung stehenden endovaskulären Techniken (10, 14).
