Zusammenfassung
L-Asparaginase wurde im Blutserum von Meerschweinchen entdeckt und konnte später auch in Mikroorganismen nachgewiesen werden. Neben der L-Asparaginase aus Meerschweinchen-Serum hat aber nur die aus bestimmten Bakterienstämmen wie Escherichia coli und Erwinia carotovora gewonnene L-Asparaginase praktische Bedeutung: Hier wurde eine tumorhemmende Wirkung festgestellt.
