Zusammenfassung

Trypsin kommt in der Bauchspeicheldrüse fast aller Säugetiere vor. Es wird dort als inaktive Vorstufe (Trypsinogen) gebildet. Die Umwandlung in die aktive Form, das Trypsin, erfolgt vor allem durch Trypsin selbst und Enterokinase. Industriell wird das Enzym mittels spezieller Reinigungsschritte aus frischem Rinderpankreas gewonnen.
