Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag präsentiert Erfahrungen und Gestaltungsanforderungen im Hinblick auf gemeinsam genutzte Anwendungen. Die tatsächliche Nutzung von Groupware unterscheidet sich oft stark von den anfänglichen bestehenden Vorstellungen. Das ist insbesondere der Fall, wenn sich über die Zeit die Arbeit der Nutzer bzw. deren Vorlieben und Wünsche ändern oder wenn Nutzer neue Seiten und Möglichkeiten der Technologie entdecken. Im Falle solcher anfänglich nicht intendierten Nutzung ändert sich offensichtlich die Rolle einer Groupware in einer Organisation. Die zentrale Frage des Artikels lautet, ob sich — aufgrund dieser Rollenverschiebung — die technischen Anforderungen an die Groupware ändern und wie diese möglichen Änderungen schon im Entwurf des Systems berücksichtigt werden können.
